Hi another ebay lot related question - bought an almost complete superion short of the weapons for Air Raid, Fireflight, Slingshot and Sky Dive, but I also have issues with Air Raid's wings (too floppy), Silverbolt's leg articulation (same issue), the smaller combiner head sections (again too loose) and the tabs for the 5-mm socket that holds Air Raid and Sky Dive in superion mode are broken off, so he has knock knees in robot mode. Any helo in attempting reapis on these would be appreciated, or should I just accept this as a duff lot and get a new Air Raid and Silverbolt?

I have seen knock-offs advertised on eBay for around £20 - are these a good way to replace/fix parts?

 

Silverbolt's legs are always an issue. They are a little better in G2. I do not own the KO/Reissue Superion, but the cheaper Korean KOs (Big Together) are not compatible for repairs on G1 Aerialbots. They are slightly smaller, iirc.

 

the kos are worse, individual guns are not included

 

ok thanks for the heads-up, probably will just replace the whole bot, write it off as a loss and sell the component parts individually (hopefully will recoup some or all of my losses there).

 

the bodies can be had for cheap. if most of the parts are there, and you didn't pay a ton, you might still come out ahead. the pricey parts for superion are the combiner parts usually

 

Cheers, thanks for the heads-up. Got another more complete unit from Ebay (only missing 1 gun) for around the same price and also got £15 refund on the other piece, so have two almost complete Superions...
