I am very new to painting and I really want to do it! I want to hand paint a figure using gold paint. The figure is a damaged MP-15 Rumble that has lost some of his paint in a horrifying falling accident. So because I am very green to painting figures, I would appreciate it if someone could provide me with links and/or guidance for the right type of paint, the appropriate or closest colour to gold (even if it doesn't match), the correct brushes and any other thing I should know.

This being my first painting project, I want to buy only what is needed for this. In the future, when I'm feeling more confident, I imagine I'll delve deeper into the world of painting. Can anyone help?
