Back in February 2015, Cartoon Network had planned a theatrical Adventure Time movie, but what’s the status on it?
Cheers man, I'm getting emotional already, watching this show for the last time is going to be very sad, such a great show
Well, the finale was tonight. What a ride. Seriously. I've been a fan of the show since the beginning, even through the nonsensical whimsey and goofy stand-alones. Yeah, it's a kid's show and all, but the writing has been solid and the underlying storyline so well done that it was truly an enjoyable experience. I admit, there were a few points in the finale that I felt myself choking up a bit, so in my book, it was successful. I'm truly going to miss this series, and will definitely buy a complete 10-season box set when it's released. No spoilers really, but it was pretty awesome seeing the writers finally cross a boundary with a certain two characters without it just being implied.
Eight years is nothing to spit at. I never really watched the show, but my friends always loved it. Definitely one of Cartoon Network’s greatest success stories, and it was able to go out on its own terms from what I understand. Peace.
enjoyed it, need to watch the 2nd half again as it was during dinner lol. there are still ways to tell more stories if they want. i still would like to see some of the lemon hope ep stuff explained. loved the giant Sweet p walking around at the end. still a good end to a great show.
Yeah, going to miss this one. Kids show or not I've always found it enjoyable and it was something that my daughters and I could watch together. Hopefully Hulu puts the second season up soon as they missed part of it due to going over to spend some time with their grandma.
I give them a lot of credit for managing to wrap things up on their terms. It was a nice finale, all things considered.
Wow so both these shows are done... i admit that i followed regualr show way more closely usually because my entire family enjoyed it and we watched it together. But after school i would always put on a episode or 2, or 3 as i ate at my gramas. So i never really followed it in order but i do remember how much different stories, and such it had. Now that these two shows are over that really does wrap up the cartoon shows i grew up watching. Ben 10 Kids next door Courage the cowardly dog Regular Show Adventure time Teen Titans Star wars rebels TF Animated TF Prime TF Beast hunters The fosters Chowder Theres plenty more and i would say Star wars the clone wars but i did hear it was getting a proper ending. Its just really crazy that my generations shows are gonna be completely different from the shows my little brothers generation will be watching. Welp. Im glad i started watching Naruto..
That was a good series finale. Seeing the Lich King all grown up walking around like a forest guardian was legendary. Bye Adventure Time.
I'm hoping the bubblegum/Marceline one has either some new backstory details or some lead in to where they end up in Beth and Shermie. Same for Finn and Jake.
Yup female versions fionna and cake are getting a tv series. They had some comics aready based on them.
