I wasn't aware TF's had a tendency to suddenly grow...if he's officially 18' tall I'm assuming that's a retcon for all 5 movies.

 

Really? Megatron was 35 feet in the first movie, now he's down to 30. Ratchet was a foot taller in Dotm and Aoe. Optimus was 28 feet in the first 3 and now he's 30. Ratchet got taller despite keeping the exact same design. Bee has a completely new body, surely him being a bit taller now is not a retcon.

 

Prime's still 28tho.

 

Optimus is still 28'. Megatron died and got a new body which is smaller (mostly so he looks better next to Optimus). And ratchet, I'm assuming was also a retcon, as he and bumblebee are still the same height relative to one another and to Optimus etc.

 

I cant find the pic but there is one that proves how Optimus prime is 32 feet.

 

I coulda sworn Optimus was 30 feet at some point. Anyway, for robots that have obvious mass shifting abilities, is it so hard to believe the be just by a bit taller for Aoe and TLK?

It's really hard to tell when prime looked taller, when he fought with shockwave he looked like the same height but shockwave wasn't in the right posture because he was dying, in some battles with megatron we can easily see how he is shorter but NOT too short.

According to the measures that i did, this Bee is aproximatly 1/30-31 in vehicle mode and 1/29-30 in robot mode

 

No, but judging by this screen cap, it looks like Takara have (as usual) ignored official heights entirely and made the character look right based on how he appeared in the movie. And bee looks the same height as in AOE.





And before someone says it, I realize bee is in the foreground and squatting in the first pic. Standing straight up and on the same level with prime, looks like he'd hit him right around prime's headlights.

Not sure, but we already got in-hand pictures wich is a good sign.

 

Look at the feet. Optimus is a lot farther back than Bumblebee, making Bee look taller than he really is.

And he's 18 feet in Aoe.

 

This looks like a test shot possibly? There's a serial number stamped on the back of one of his doors/wings which is usually the telltale sign

 

The bad thing about that shot, is that prime is some far away of the rest, and bee and ironhide aren't in a right posture, by that, jazz could being the same height as ratchet, but nope.
