Do you think Activision should just reacquire the rights...I know they have been careless but it would also save the Cybertron games.

That's only if Hasbro agrees to it, which I highly doubt, as Activision doesn't seem interested in making licensed games anymore.
That might be a little problematic. Mainly due to before a game can become backwards compatible, the console manufacturer must first seek the developer, publisher, and whoever else. Activision has no interest in rereleasing the game on newer consoles. Microsoft also announced they are no longer making more Xbox Original and Xbox 360 games backwards compatible with Xbox One (Only a select were chosen.) Sadly, none of the Transformers games were supported with backwards compatibility. But, with the Xbox Series X and PS5 announcing all PS4 and Xbox One games will be backwards compatible. Transformers Devastation, the port of Fall of Cybertron and Rise of the Dark Spark can be played once the system releases.
The only games that were missing out is WFC and the movie games.

No. Even if they did, they're still a scummy company. They hardly advertised barely any of the Transformers games resulting in below average sales, gave them cheap laggy peer-to-peer servers, prevented any Pre-FOC DLC from being sold on PC, Repurposed High Moon after layoffs to be subpar COD map makers, ect.

They're basically the Transformers game's Dreamwave comics equivalent (If you know their history) and probably the gaming industry's overall. Even though they might be attached to good material, they shouldn't ever go back to them.
