I'm digging how it's faithful to his Studio OX look. Galvatron looks splendid! That Rodimus doesn't miss either and yeah, these guys can fit well with the Haslabs Unicron tbh considering it looks like his Studio OX design with all those mech gribblies.

So this sign in this picture shows they’re going to be 30CM tall so just under a foot. Glad they’re reducing the size. The regular Ultimetal Releases are monsters.

I think these are amazing. I'd absolutely buy them if they weren't cost prohibitive, but I know they're gonna be ridiculously expensive, so sadly, I'll just have to make due with my old 1997 Japan Botcon Galvatron.

LOL, not even close. When they leaked Megatron my daughter was 8 and in 3rd grade, now she's 17 and prepping for college and he isn't released.......

(And for the record, licensing has nothing to do with what's 3rd party. The term "3rd party" literally just means anyone outside the two main parties in a given interaction. In this case, Hastak being the 1st party and the consumer being the 2nd party. Anyone else is a 3rd party. It's the same principle as 1st person, 2nd person, and 3rd person points of view.)

I'm glad to see these are going up for order. The size is good and price is about what we expected.

 

Does that price say $1580 HK, meaning just over $200 US?

 

The apparent prices are interesting seeing as how prior Ultimetal releases were like 1k USD. I thought I might be in for Rodimus from the initial reveals, but these new pictures don't really sell him for me. Also it's one of those things that just doesn't gel with anything else on my shelves, which makes it a harder purchase. OX Galvy is just a little too doofy for me.

these seem to be under a subline called ULTIMETAL-S which I would assume the 'S' would stand for small considering they're 30cm compared to the 44cm that Optimus and Megatron are.

 

Good catch. I totally read it as "ultimetals" even though the that's clearly not the intended way now that I look again. Not that I'm complaining though, the price point is much more attractive and so is the size tbh.

 

Rodimus is gorgeous in the Studio Ox design. Galvatron is cool too. I might need these.
