    Hey everyone,

I'll be updating this thread as I progress with this project. I try to just post finished projects, but I'd like peoples input on this one.

Backstory: My repainted/modified FE Prime (With a metallic paint job & Alternator Prime head) met a horrible fate due to some liquid-type superglue running where it shouldn't. It fused the figure's torso together (at a really weird angle), so I decided to scrap the project.

From the carcass of my modded FE Prime, comes -- Action Master Power Master Optimus Prime. :)

    [Update:]
-Some new (b/w) WIP pics added of the styrene leg work.
-Connected upper torso to the balljointed waist, and started the interior molding for the Legends prime figure.
-Trimmed back of leg trailer armor to allow for leg rotation, even with the larger thighs.
-Dissassembled/unscrewed the Classics Prime KO lower legs, and packed Aves Apoxie Sculpt inside to add some weight to the trailer-legs.

So far, I've incorporated parts from:
-TF Alternator 'Ford Truck' Optimus' head modified to fit a ball joint
-a KO Classics Nemesis Prime (Legs, back extension, part of the abs (that will house the balljoint, which came from a NECA figure)
-A recolored KO DIA City Commander armor (bulky robo-boots)
-TF: Prime FE Optimus (chest with back flaps opened/fused & window dremmeled out)
-Arms from a junker MP-01 Prime (shortened forearms) - you can see an earlier version of the torso in that pic -- a recast of the iGear Prime that I discovered wasn't the right proportion.
    -Fakebuster Shapeway's hands (resculpted)
-Legends Prime with his legs severed at the knee. Dremeled out, and resculpted. Gaps in his legs are sculpted over. Superglued in a small revoltech joint for the knees.

The AM PM Prime figure fits in and holds great inside the chest. However, to accommodate the MP-01 arm joints inside, the legs need to parts-form off Legends prime and be set aside.

    Question:
I'm curious if anyone has a photo of FP'd City Commander and a G1 PowerMaster Optimus Prime side-by-side -- I'm considering sourcing out of a junker PM Prime to use his trailer-armor bits (back & on the side of the legs). Are they too big? The last time I held a PM Prime, I was a kid, so I have no sense of how big/small that figure is.

Also, still looking for x1 G1 PM Prime shoulder gun/smoke stack. I have one, but need two. :)

    Constructive critique welcomed.

There have been a few CityCommander/G1PMOP mash-up customs that worked really well, so there are definitely parts-mining opportunities there.

This makes me wonder how that head would look on a standard FE Prime,hmm..

    Like this. :)

Here's some WIP shots of what my FE Prime looked like with the Alternator Prime head + a repaint before it's super-glue accident.

I did some other mods - widened the inner cab so the top could lay flat (needed as the Alt. head is larger than the default one).

I also added in magnets to the inside shin & back of the truck mode. The floppy shins were bugging me. I still have those legs, and will probably use them in combination with an RID Prime Optimus custom at some point. They worked great.

Still, the Alt. head was modeled on Powermaster Prime's super-mode anyhow. It's fitting that because of the glue incident, I ended up making my own PM Prime using that head. :)
