Non-Transforming Studio Series Optimus Prime



Primary Base: RotF SS32 Optimus Prime





Contributions/Sacrifices:

• HftD voyager Optimus - visors, forearm guards, shoulder "spikes", front wheels, calf covers, ion blaster hand and forearm guard, matrix
• DotM deluxe Optimus - sternum bits, abs, trailer hitch plate
• AoE voyager Optimus - feet, outer ankle detail, hip covers, headlights, rear pelvis sculpt, smokestacks
• TFtM SS05 voyager Optimus - shoulder pads, rear fender bits, rear thigh "bot panels", hinge to connect arm guard to ion blaster

Special Acknowledgements:

• TFP deluxe Smokescreen - frame for the upper back
• RotF deluxe Sideways - black bit for center of back
• Studio Series (car) Shatter - panel for the ion blaster guard
• Pacific Rim: Uprising "Gipsy Avenger" - open hands

Body Modifications to SS32:

1. Resculpted sternum
2. Matrix added to chest
3. Swappable DotM and AoE "evasion" abs
4. Spun the smokestacks 180°
5. Scratch built entire back (Parts from Smokescreen and Sideways used here)
6. Removed all tabs pertaining to transformation
7. Removed front fenders from the armpits
8. Filled in the sides and glued shoulders directly to the body
9. Hollowed out chest to accommodate matrix chamber
10. Added trailer hitch plate to lower back

Arm Modifications to SS32:

1. Swapped SS32 shoulder pads with SS05
2. Added the taller shoulder "spikes" from HftD
3. Removed SS32 hood halves from arms
4. Using hood halves from HftD for the forearm guards
5. Removed all tabs pertaining to transformation
   
6. Added additional bot kibble to underside of wrists
7. Wrists embedded with small earth magnets for swappable hands (SS32 hands, plus hands from Gipsy Avenger used) and weapons accessories

Leg Modifications to SS32:

1. Glued rear wheels directly onto each thigh
2. Added bot kibble from SS05 to back of upper legs and behind knees
3. Shifted knee guards over 1/8" for better visual alignment
4. Removed all tabs pertaining to transformation
   
5. Add girth and panels to outer lower legs
6. Replaced ankle wheels with HftD front wheels and fenders (trimmed down the wheels too)
7. Replaced SS32 feet with AoE Prime's feet
8. Replaced lower back leg panels with HftD ones

Question will he be able to combine with the new ss dotm optimus prime wing suit or do you have plans on making that possible? Same goes with rote jetfire. Still very cool and rip sideways

 

Sorry no. This one is definitely not able to combine with those items.   

 

I'm going to leave the combining to the SS DotM Optimus Leader Class set!

 

Saw this in person a few days ago, before the last few mods were done, it looked like a mini Masterpiece. Was amazing all the work done on a figure its size! Cant wait and appreciate the chance to work on the figure later this week!
