Are they absolutly sure that there will be no Dinobots for the Third and Final movie?

Reason why I ask is because I don't want o go to all the troble hoping that the toy line will include any Dinosaur transformers for Trasformers 3.
Also because there is something Dinosaur Transformers like toys I am planning to replace them with. I want to buy them to pretend they will be my Dinobot army, but I want to make sure because I'm not burning a hole in my pocket to have two Dinobot armies and for the Dinosaurs Transformers that are on sale there is only one set sold online.

I'm not going to say what Dinosaur robots they are because I'm hoping to be the only one with my eye on the only set. I can tell you they are not even in any Transformers line.

Given the number of possible Autobots already either confirmed or hinted at so far in the film I just don't see where there could be any more room left for them in the film. At some point you have to have a cut off point with the number of characters or you get a horrible horrible horrible mess like Moral Kombat 2.

As to toys I think it depends on how bad you want them in a particular aesthetic. The movie line I'd say your chances are next to none because there are too many other characters to work in before Hasbro starts to move from the movies to what is next. We know so very little about Transformers Prime it's anyone's guess if the show will have dinobots or not. Generations it's kind of unclear as well but not looking good so far.

Sadly all five dinobots just doesn't seem like something that happens any more. Animated never had all five in the cartoon and even Robot Heroes was axed before all five dinobots could be released in that style.

I'd imagine any dinobots in the micheal bay TF movies would look like the late 1990's dinozone/dinozaurs toys.

I doubt well see any dinobots in TF3. Because micheal bay hates them,is a sturburn man & his majesty would look weak if he changed his mind.

I said 'no', now quit asking me.

EDIT: While I don't see a future for Bayforming "Dinobots", I think the "Dynobots" could easily be a possibility. They keep that warrior spirit, but instead of dinosaurs, they turn into badass vehicles (civilian, commercial or military)

That was awesome! I've asked this question before but with an idea. My theory was if he was going to introduce the Dinobots, they could happen this way.
Their "protoform" or whatever it is that comes crashing into Earth, crashes into a Dino Museum, and take on the form of whatever skeletons they scanned.
That would be the only realistic approach I see.
Of coarse, since the Transformers have come to Earth long ago, I guess anything's possible.
But the museum bit is how I see it happening.

Not only that but Simon Furman said he wouldn't want the dinobots in the movies mostly because it won't fit in the realm of realisim.

Simon Freakin'g Furman said that back in 2008 before ROTF. And Simon Furman loves the Dinobots more than anything.

Grimlock will hopefully make a quick cameo. It gives Bay a reason to go to a monstertruck show.

I've got to agree. Kind of hard to be keeping it real when we are talking about intelligent alien robots who can turn into cars and jets.

I think you guys are getting to caught up on the word realism. In the context of the movieverse it is just hard to come up with a plausible explanation for why a group of autobots would randomly pick forms that resemble long dead creatures or why they would take the for of creatures to start with. If you dont take the time to explain it you end up with random crap like Alice which got no onscreen explination.
