It was never deleted. It was written into the script by IDW to make their movie adaption go better alongside Rising Storm.

 

yep. that SCENE was Never NEVER planned for the film its Not even in the Novel adaptation, thus John Barber jsut added the scene for the Comic only

 

Well, it is still highly superior to what's in the film. What, Michael Bay, we can't have closure on characters? And BTW, the scene with the Autobots in the beginning is much better.

 

Proof that Michael Bay doesn't care about the Transformers at all.

Seriously the 86 movie did a way better job with death's and most we're never brought up again.

But of course, like always, Michael Bay makes some story decisions that are like going quick with a super model. again and again. stinks.

While it would have been nice to show some acknowledgement to the fallen characters of previous films (and hats off to John Barber for including the scene), I don't feel the story suffered massively for its exclusion.

 

I do wish the Elita scene was in the end in DoTM, maybe with Optimus saying "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, Elita. But I promise to fight in your honor."

I think that would've been better instead of DUNANA DUNANA DUNANA (Optimus nods).

 

Why couldn't they have done that for Ironhide!?
