Used to be working on this. Untill a bunch of progress was lost and i was discouraged. Not intending to finish this but might one day do some new stuff.
Here's what the chest was like so far. Keep in mind, all textures were placeholder. The shoulder-crack was some messing around with battle damage.

As becomes a little more apparent with the arm, i was using the toy for comparison.

Was about this far with his leg before the shitstorm erased stuff off my PC.

 

Just noticed the assymetrical arms, that's a result of one being a copy of the other, so the backside for one of them was temporarily functioning as the frontside.

 

Wasnt looking to bad though.

Small note, using google sketchup is nice practice for building with styrene.

Indeed - I've had half-finished work go 'pop' thanks to hardware screw-ups, but I always take a leaf from the Goonies' playbook...never say die.  

Hope you get the chance to go back and rebuild!
