It looks like he's gonna have a double jointed knee, just like STS-01...maybe?...so his range of knee articulation shld.be even better.

If you look at this pic, provided by @Atomic Tofu, it looks like there are hinges at the bottom, and top of the armored connective piece. (KOK's on the right)

 

The TMT has double jointed knees, I have seen a video where it was showed the knee bend. I am not too sure about KOK...

 

Yeah TMT looks like the sculpt is able to accommodate the joint, too. There is nothing in the way of it bending DEEP from what I can see.

 

You can see the lower hinge, but it looks like the armored connective piece is already coming down at an angle, is if it's already somewhat bent at the top.

 

These "gaps" seen in the picture was because they showed it up without transformed it properly.and they have apologized for that in their Weibo.

Seriously though, I'm beginning to think that AAT can't do anything right with knight Optimus. They really should rush out some proper photos so people can actually see their big product reveal how it's supposed to look.

I see that this model has the same design problem with the legs than UniqueToys, you can't align the legs with the torso, it's like he's always in a semi spread position, I don't know how to describe it in english.

Red arrows is the position you can get. Blue arrow will be the ideal position.

 

I don't necessarily think that's the case. He may just be posed that way.

If you look at the pic you posted, and even this one of his back, it looks like there's space for at least one more inward click.

 

No, the legs are exactly in the same position, it's the same problem design than UT Prime.

 

I'm not saying that they're in different positions. I'm saying that it looks like there's room for the legs be moved inwards by at least one click.

I could of course be wrong, but we won't know for sure till we get more detailed pics, or a video review.

 

No, I don't think so, I had UT01 and it was impossible to aling the legs because of the transformation design.

 

I just asked the store for the price two weeks ago,and they said it's estimated 1XXX RMB,if this good quality require such a price then so be it.Hope it's true.
I have missed out El Cid,unsatisfied with challenger and canceled my TW preorder for its low quality.Maybe AAT has learned enough from them.
Hope this time AAT can conculde this war of 3rd knight optimus.

 

So at LEAST $150USD? This figure better be amazing. UT Challenger is so good in a lot of ways and at one point was available for $99. I think AAT has become very ambitious with their pricing, and for that much we at least need properly transformed, higher quality photos without super dark lighting! So far this figure does not seem like it can "conclude this war of 3rd knight optimus" cause the proportions seem odd.
