It took me a stupid amount of time to realize Mackron is just Mackatron shortened. I was like "why did they name this Megatron design after the Prime Minister of France?"

So Alien Attack Toys is just Keith from X-Transbots by another name, right? And the big question, will this transform or is it essentially a ThreeZero style mobile statue?

What was a bigger disaster? El cid or transcraft Bee?

I'm not familiar with AAT prime but I hear it was bad. And I know transcaft Bee is just a mess

 

Good question, both seem to fall apart. AAT’s prime also had the bonus of being terrible to transform.

 

These images of Alien Attack Toys AAT-01 Mackron (DOTM Megatron) look very nice but for me to buy this figure, I need to know two things: 1.How does he look in vehicle mode? and 2. Is his transformation into vehicle mode easy and not so complicated like with happen with Alien Attack Optimus Prime?

 

The name for this mold is quite French!

 

I agree about the proportions thing. Transformers have had such inaccurate proportions for so long (especially movie bots who always have tiny heads) that recently it’s been refreshing to have a lot of them get it right. It’s why ultimately I lost interest in Peru Kill yet I still love Challenger.

Definitely el Cid. I didn’t see the completed truck mode once on that thing, and I wasn’t able to transform it fully back to robot mode. Pieces fell off right out of the box. My Transcraft bee has been fine so far and looks better in both modes than el cid did. Although I know I’m in the minority and a lot of them broke, I don’t know a single person who has a fully functioning el cid.

 

Honestly I love my AA Prime...probably because I have never transformed him  

 

This looks to be a reworking of Exquisite Toys ET-01. Lots of the parts are almost identical, with some improvements most noticeably on the truck kibble. Don\'t know if the companies are affiliated or AA just bought it off them because they didnt have the resources to perfect the design. Be interested to see the murder truck mode.

If it turns out good, I will consider buying other upcoming AA releases. Their Prime also looks fantastic in both modes.
