Its so weird to see what woupd become a siege thing drawn in the prime wars aesthetic (impactor vs blurr)

 

Interesting how much of that concept seemed to carry over to the Kingdom version regardless, like the multi-posture ape mode and the 'Blade Munky' gorilla sword storage

 

Looks like Slash was much more involved in concept art. With the figure being simplified.

 

Are you customizing an existing one, 3D printing or..?

 

Very interesting stuff. Some of these look like the engineering had been pretty much worked out by TT, I.e. Siege Prime and Hound. Interesting to see Hasbro still have a lot of input on the aesthetics this late in the design process.

Ah Prime, I see what they were going for.b but it's one of those cases where it definately looked better on paper.

 

I actually like the not-lambo we were given more then these. The trucks only differ in tiny ways and I think this is a case of the grass being greener on the other side. They are all nice and I enjoy what we got. The StarScream being more "viper" like is cool but I understand they had to make a toy of it so it had to be tweaked. SoundWave with a more WipeOut style alt mode does look nicer. Primal looks nice as a test for a new show I'd totally get behind a series like this.

I'm pretty ok with what we got, but man, it sure could have been different.

 

The Bot Bot designs are the absolute best. If those were all Transformers were forever it would be perfectly awesome.

The two giant base guys, the Locker and the Fridge, are amazing and I really really wish they'd really happen in some fashion.

WOW. I wish Optimus would have looked like this. I really like the production figure but LOVE this truck design. And that Sideswipe?! Fuck me I'd pay double retail for that design. It's GLORIOUS!

I would love to get a BSG VIper Transformer. That would be incredible.

I do too. I'm in the minority but I've always liked Transmetal designs more so than Classic BW designs. This kind of bridges that gap and I think it's GREAT

 

I have never even thought of buying a BOTBOT, but I will be damned if I don't want that BONSAI BOT in the worst way! Also, I like the Seeker concept, might have been able to work the legs into the wing connection and eliminated some of the hang down on the final toy, but I still really like the SEIGE seekers, so all good.
