Exactly, it IS beautiful. And it’s the same damn colors he had on the G1 figure as well. I’d assume the ones complaining have no idea what they are talking about. It’s a strait up modern update. I had the G1 figure when I was young.

Can anyone tell me what happens to the extra train car/launchpad in Astrotrain’s bot mode? Also, does anyone know if he is same height as Jetfire in bot mode or shorter?

 

He's going to be voyager scale in bot mode, so same as Prime and Megatron. I believe the cart becomes a weapon rack of some kind.

Does anyone know if Impactor's single figure head is based on the marvel comics or something? For my money, that three pack head is leagues better and I can't figure out why that isn't the default sculpt, unless it's a Marvel comics thing.

 

The train car essentially acts as a weapon box, you can see it in some of the SDCC pictures. As for his height, he’s way shorter than Jetfire, assuming you mean the Siege Commander Class one.

I don't think we expected *anything* when we voted. Look how many people assumed Primal showing up in PotP was because he won the poll, then the Throne figure was revealed.

Same here. We thought the retail Mirage/Impactor were it. They weren't.

 

Those spinster fake leg windows are kinda odd, only noticed they are fake on inspecting the alt mode. Otherwise he’s a great looking figure 

 

I was initially excited for the fan vote two pack, but with the regular releases coming out around the same time, I’m becoming more “meh” about it.  I’m actually more interested in the Powerdasher - for his siege compatibility.   I just don’t know if I’ll be willing to pay the box set price for a repaint, an IDW head, and an invisible toy.  

 

the invisible mirage can pull double duty as a ghost if you have ectotron

 

Man, Astrotrain is...compromised. Still the best we've seen, but...Very very compromised.

Given the color scheme and Cybertonian alt-mode, I'm surprised that Crosshairs didn't become Orion Pax.

Funny, I was going to pass on this pack, but this thread turned me around. I want the Powerdashers for completion's sake (and you can't have enough Weaponizers) and I want to do Impactor vs. Impactor. I was really iffy on clear Mirage, but then I realized I could do Mirage and his decoy.   Or M.A.S.K. Split Seconds!Mirage.   

 

I preordered Crosshairs... I liked the color scheme and my brother and I had him as kids. For some reason I liked this figure in this mold more than Ironhide and Ratchet.
