Well, that may be, but I do remember reading where a lot of people have come forward to admit faking footprints for the sake of notoriety.

And yet, you ask others to be open minded but you post such a narrow minded view. That's great. I'm done.

putting limitations on a discussion of a contentious issue that basically excludes everyone who doesn't agree with you is essentially the same as being close-minded.

I'm not trying to convince you, since you've made it pretty clear you're not interested in being convinced. I'm more interested in getting the facts into this thread for everyone else out there who may not have made up their minds.

We have exactly ZERO proof. Everything you listed is based on assumptions of it being real. Until there is proof, there's nothing any nutbar can say to convince me otherwise. Show me proof. You need to educate yourself on the meaning of the word.

I don't give a rat's ass what you believe or don't believe. But you can't claim there is proof where there is none. And you can't prove something doesn't exist, only that it does exist. No one has been able to do that.

I repeat, you're a FOOL if you think Bigfoot exists.

You can believe whatever the heck you want to believe.

We're just pointing out why the REASONS you believe this shit exists are beyond crappy and easily disproven.

I guess in eagc7's world, you're one lucky son of a gun.

There's a one in a million chance that they exist, so I don't really believe too much...

I highly doubt that Bigfoot and Nessie exist, although I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if there are undiscovered large creatures living in our oceans.

In the vast majority of cases, people AREN'T lying, but they ARE mistaken. Large shapes that they see in mist or at night or briefly while they drive past are not sasquatch or wood ape, but bears, elk, and human beings. The sounds they mistake are from other animals, or from human equipment distorted over distances. They find footprints, hair, or stool that have completely normal explanations. People hear or see things they don't recognize, and immediately jump to the conclusion "BIGFOOT", and often are proven wrong, even if there was no malice in their claims.

Of course, then there are the people who stand to gain from their claims, in terms of profit or publicity, and those are the people who are most likely to make hoaxes.

Ok so I'm not the only one who believes the species thing. It's absolutely possible we haven't discovered the species yet.

I don't believe in Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster anymore. I definitely believe in aliens though. I also think there is a possibility that there are probably sea monsters somewhere in the ocean because it is so vast and deep.

Personally in terms of "Mythical creatures" Or that area.

I feel that as if there is certainly a possibility of their existence.

Though for the most part, given that most of these things have been disproved shows that the chances of it, are slim.

However, say I wanted to go on the "THE MAN, MAN!!!!" aspect of this scenario, i'm sure that even if we did search we have a high probablity of never finding it due to government intervention. Because, even if it did exist. The government would probably do it's best to cover any evidence of it existing up. Even if most of it is considered "urban legend" I'm sure the government would do everything in their power to obtain said thing and study it "For the betterment of man!"

Though, only just a theroy. I do wish some urban legends and mythical shit did exist however, as far as we know they don't.

What possible incentive would the government have to suppress the existence of Bigfoot?
