This was adorable. The Siege Bots and Cons are having a Christmas dinner, Jetfire is the cook, Megatron keeps whacking Starscream on the head, Shockwave falls down chair, and then a sudden foodfight ensues! But maybe neither side is to blame for starting it?  

Part 2 - of course it was the Botbots behind all this all along!

Can't say I was a big fan of the emoji-speak, but otherwise very enjoyable. I enjoyed the two sides of the story told from the POV of the larger bots and the small BotBots, and I find it strangely charming that the Autobots might actually invite the Decepticons over - but only for the holidays.  

 

Fun videos indeed.

 

Hmm, I just noticed now, by the end of this all, Jetfire has changed his emblem to the Decepticon one!

Pity that Series 4 was not available to them, as then they could have given Apeface a banana!

It reminded me of the sort of stop motion videos (like the one with Energon Prime attacking the other Primes and Primals for calling him a Megazord) we had in the early 2000s... It's great that nowadays Hasbro's people have such passion for the franchise, they are making these!

Yeah the emoji-speak isn't my thing either (and I did not know many of them, albeit the monkey one for Apeface was so appropriate). Guess around Christmas, erm, Primus-mas, both sides set aside their differences.

 

I'm glad BotBots are slowly getting some story moments here and there. First an animation and its comic adaptation, then South African exclusive comic, a sticker book, an upcoming storybook, and now this. Maybe we'll finally see a BotBots animated series eventually.

And Hasbro should do unexpected small things like that more often.

The use of Botbots in this story was fantastic.
The use of emojis? Not so much.

 

this is a better toy commercial than anything else. i love them.

 

That was quite fun. I guess even Transformers have awkward holiday meals.

It really works fantastically as a toy commercial! I don't have any Bot Bots, but now I kind of want to buy some so that I can stage my own Cybertronian food fight.
