God, I hope that's not true. If Wheelie wasn't the most disliked TF before, he sure will be after this.
Don't go there. But you're right, it could be worse. I really should take a chill pill. But all I'm saying is that I expect this movie to be awesome, and you have to admit, there is nothing at all awesome about some twerpy little bot who rhymes and gets on everyones nerves. That's all I'm saying.
This...Boy do I hope it's this. If he does hump her leg in the film, it wont be like I'll suddenly jump up and run screaming from the theater. I'll most likely just facepalm and groan like I did at the "happy time" joke in the first film. As for the whole "pet" thing, my guess is maybe there's a scene in where Mikaela takes pitty on Wheelie, and never being shown such kindness(Since in his toy bio it seems like the Decepticons like to beat him around.) He suddenly takes a shine to her and fallows Mikaela around for the rest of the film...That's my theory anyway.
If it's any consolation, my buddy said he's heard nothing but great things about the Constructicon stuff. He hasn't seen any shots first hand (he's not working on them), but the word from people who have is that they're sick, the action is sick, and it's awesome. Of course, that's super generic, but hey, this is the same guy who told me about some movie called Benjamin Button two years ago was some of the most amazing effects work that he'd ever been a part of. I trust he knows what he's talking about.
Well when you put it that way, yeah, what with Devastator, Soundwave, Jetfire, Arcee, The Fallen, etc, I don't see why it wouldn't be an amazing movie. The point I've been trying to get across is that having Wheelie in it might ruin it. But that's just one minor set back, right? The rest of it will be smooth sailing. I guess I just got too caught up in the whole "Wheelie Sucks" Campaign.
Except Transformers was very successful, and evidently by the good word-of-mouth campaign and door polls, a largely enjoyable film by the majority of the audience that viewed it. There aren't that many dedicated fans in the world, and usually only the adult nerds care enough to be infuriated by changes to their pre-concieved notions to what Transformers "should be". And generally, doom-sayer adult nerds are wrong, and they've been wrong ever since Beast Wars was declared to be the ruination of Transformers.
How could you not make a 1 foot tall ex-decepticon RC monster truck named after the most annoying character the Jar-Jar of the movie? I like the movie wheelie, it shows that not all decepticons are stupid or insane....or megatron.
It's not confirmed, but it seems like such a Bay thing to do, so I think that's why everyone's taking it seriously. I could see this being in the movie, it's annoying, but at least I'm prepared for it to happen if it is in the movie. It would probably be good for me to lower my expectations honestly, and if that's the really bad joke of the movie I'm ok with that. I honestly only really had a problem with the peeing joke in the last movie, it just wasn't funny...
Ok folks, it took SIX PAGES FOR THIS TO BE POSTED! How sad is that? I am suprised this wasn't the first post. Seriously, this thread should just be titled "He tell me" That is all...
I'm surprised with the resources that MB has. That he stoops down to the crude & rude humour. I'm embarrassed that I had to tell the kids to NOT show the TF1 movie when the grandparents were around. I could maybe see the gag once if wheelie being new to earth after watching somebody's dog. And not knowing any better tried the same act once figuring it was the appropriate thing to do. Maybe the little twert was scared and was holding on like small frightened child?
