I rarely got rid of toys as a kid, so I had a great starting point for all of this when I got back into collecting 10 years ago. with understanding parents and a great wife, I slowly moved it between 4 places before finally getting a house with a PERFECT spot to make a toy room last year.

I hope you guys enjoy looking at these pics! it's kind of like a museum and my wife always shows her friends when they come over. I've got a few customs repaints mixed in on the transformers shelves. see if you can spot 'em!

so, do you occasionally have the more common (ie, non rarities or non fragile) figures fight it out webcomic style?

you found me out. that's a wheeljack with the reprolabels and custom parts from that guy that went out of business years ago.

and the black shadow and dinoking are "grey market" taiwanese bootlegs. the other bootlegs are road caesar, sixwing, defensor, superion, and abominus. sky garry is actually one of those brave figures I repainted. everything else is real, though.

nope, as much as I've thought about it, I'm horrible at photoshop and text balloons.

when we looked at the house, we were pretty fond of the upstairs. when I went into the basement and saw a wet bar, I was like, "a place for the flagg. SOLD!"

my mom actually bought that from a toy store that was going out of business in the 80's. she also "bought" the matchbox cars from me so I wouldn't sell them. she's kind of the reason I got the collector mentality. little did she know :ev:

Impressed with the eclectic nature of your collection. It's like an 80's toy store! Very cool.
