It's just sad that I- an admitted flamer, telling others to "let it go" so that the boards can be a little easier and pleasurable to navigate- advise others to just "let it go", and get slammed with accusations and martyrdom.

In terms of remembering the last time.Honestly I can't remember the last time I said it.These days when I see such a response it's like the old adage "In one ear and out the other" I've seen it,but then "whoosh" by the time I read/post/reply another thread I've forgotten who said it.

All I know for certainty is that in ONE of those threads that are in the pic Dio posted.Is at least ONE instance,but it's 12:45am and I'm not going to browse through a 100+page thread to find them

Due to all the flaming about the movie I have kept clear of forums. I may take a glance at a pic or listen to the interview but to preserve any thing I feel I have steered clear. To me its very depressing. Yesterday was my first day back and I was glancing around and saw this thread.
But I just can't get over how rampant this civil war is. Really. Its not just here. Its everywhere.
I think the bottom line is this: 1) we get a better movie than D&D people. They had some French woman directing it. We get Steven Spielbert, Michael Bay, Dreamworks and other things. 2) The movie will be made regardless. 3) This is another chapter in TF history. We have gotten countless versions of TFs already and we still love TFs.

So I choose to stay positive about it. I will judge the final product when I see it.

Till then let the wrestling begin. I just want it to be in cherry jello.

Well, I certainly wouldn't go so far as to say "victimized," but there is definitely a "holier-than-thou" attitude in some of these posts presented by the (as you call them) "likers" that really only adds fuel to the fire, so while I wouldn't say that no "likers" are being attacked by the "haters," I do think it goes both ways....
