    Glad I caught this one, your work never fails to impress.
    Congratulations on your engagement as well, lord knows I should really try and keep up more then I do.

    Question, how do you scale your proportions, or do you just take measurements from the actual toy?
    (congrats on that as well btw)

    FM: Thanks man :) 
    In answer to your questions, I work out the measurements by eye as I build. I also don't sketch anything; the only this I've even vaguely sketched for Starsaber was how I was planning to get the feet to work. And even that turned out totaly differently.
    SilverBlade: They are. I will put up some shots of how it all moves when I've finished building the mechanism; at the moment,they just move in and size down a bit, but I want them to fold in on themselves as they move in (and to be attached to the foot mechanism properly).
