I'm going (My first Botcon), but I feel a bit worried that I'll just wander around and not talk to anyone... So what I'm trying to say without sounding like an emo twat is that I need people to hang out with when I'm there. I know most of you don't know me and I don't have a quirk I'm cool around here for (I.e. llamatron's balls) But I just want to feel welcome and would like to make as many friends as possible in my time there Oh and if they have a VA idol this year, I'm going for it! Well, if you check the General Deiscussion Show yourself board, you shoul have a rough idea who to look for.
Yeah, we all know each other on the boards. It is no different in person.... Ok it is but get over it. I dare anyone to come up to me and say hi. I double dog dare you!!! You never know what I'll have with me. Something new this year for the parts party. You never know when we will be GIVING something away. It doe not have to be at the parts party. Raffles, games, and fun fun fun!!!! We will be posting the location on the boards and hopefully the bulletin board (if they get it up in time). I know a lot of people who owe me a drink!!! Time to step up! Oh and for those who I owe, you gotta say something unless I see you first! REMEMBER IT'S ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN. Don't be shy, it gets you nowhere!!! Oh and with all that has happened to me give my wife a hug she needs it.
Dude I talked to Chris and he told me how bad is was! From reading Jim's initial posts it didn't sound all that bad. Hopefully things will work out for the fam.
Just be open to meeting people, and you will. TWFers are pretty friendly, I found that out very fast in 2007. Also remember to have a good time. That's what it's all about
