After eyeballing a recolor of the minicon Knock-out, I thought that Steamhammer would pair rather well with my TFTM Armorhide & his Hot Wheels Truckin' Transporters trailer... I figured if Prime was worthy of one, why not the next coolest Tractor-Trailer Transformer?

I knew that the orange had to go, so I thought I'd do a quick 'mock-up' and see what he'd look like after losing all the brown & orange. I took a black Sharpie to the orange & brown areas of the figure, leaving the yellow & black stripes. I know it's a VERY basic repaint, only touching up the previous accent colors, but I'm pretty happy with how well he 'matches' Armorhide. You can see the results of that Sharpie in the images below, click to embiggen.








While I plan on eventually truly *painting*, the figure with the proper paints, this will suffice for the time being. Eventually I plan on doing the trailer for TFTM Armorhide similarly to the Cyb. Armorhide trailer.

Thanks! I think it'll turn out well, especially if I can tie together the black, yellow, and silver paint into TFTM Armorhide, 'Roller', and the trailer.
