A repaint question

    How does hasbro go about using a mold for a repaint?
    Like certain molds are repainted until the mold breaks down (Armada Sideswipe, RID Prowl, Cybertron Clocker)
    Then others are untouched (Energon Sharkticon, Cybertron Dirtboss)
    What makes one get used over and over and another not repainted at all?

    depends on how much the first one sells I think

    and in the case of the bad ones like Sideswipe there just trying to make some money off a shitty figure, that didnt sell well the first time
