Ok so when AoE ends Spoiler Attinger, Savoy, and Lockdown are dead , and Spoiler Optimus has left the Earth . Are the Autobots on good terms with the goverments/people of Earth or will they keep hunting them anyway? They could, in theory, still hunt the Autobots. After all they did still bring a lot of destruction to Hong Kong, and kinda unleashed giant firebreathing mechasaurs into the wild. But on the other hand, they did save Earth from both Lockdown and itself (Vehicons), so hunting them wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. Kind of a stupid question, but I wasn't quite sure What do you guys/girls think?
I'd hope they would't use the exact same plot device over again, but at least have it heavily mentioned.
Public opinion of Autobot hunters is going to be extremely negative when it comes out that 17-year-old girls were murdered in the name of Autobot hunting.
Its not humanity who hates the Autobots. They don't like or trust the Cons, but they know the Autobots are the allies. Tessa herself said it, "Aren't they our allies?" It was Attinger and his bozo brigade. With them gone, things should return to some degree of better.
the government wasn't even aware that the autobots were being hunted.. so, now that attinger and savoy are gone.. i'd guess that the autobots won't be hunted anymore.
This is true. Savoy and Attinger kept saying that they needed to keep the Yeagers from telling the police and the media what they were doing. And Joshua's friend did call Ratchet a Decepticon when she was unknowingly speaking to Cade. (and then corrected by him in the same scene) jD001
I reckon KSI will still be around, someone continuing the work etc. Just seems weird to introduce this company only for it not to appear again. Obviously Joshua won't be building the bots anymore but I think someone will be.
It would have made a lot of people unhappy to discover that their own side was murdering the Autobots, their most reliable allies. There'd be some serious apologising to be done, and if the humans had any intelligence, they'd know they need the Autobots even more in a suddenly even bigger and apparently even unfriendlier universe. There's only so much you can do with a few robot making factories. However the film makers did make it clear that making sense in these movies was not a priority.
My idea about the plot for TF5: Galvatron takes Nightship and wrecks havoc on Earth while the Autobots are in disarray. Drift won't follow Bee. Crosshairs is out for himself. And Hound is not smart enough to be a leader. The whole movie will probably be about the Autobots learning to trust and work with each other to save the world. I'm guess that's why they gave the Autobots much more diverse personalities this time around. On a side note, I just realized...what happened to Bee during the Prime vs Lockdown fight? I know Lockdown throws him around a bit, but at the end of the fight, Prime grabs the humans and flies away while the grenade goes off. Did Bee just silently sneak off?
TF1: S7 tries to capture Transformers ROTF: NEST is shutdown by the government DOTM: Autobots are banished AOE: CIA is hunting Autobots Seems that the Autobots don't really have it in good with the government.
NEST wasn't shut down in the second movie. At one point, soldiers were aiming guns at the bots, but NEST was still active enough to have the fight at Egypt.
which is actually a very cool thing about the movies...it gives the action scenes more weight & makes the humans more than just background casualties..i hope they continue with this theme in 5 as it also forces the transformers to, ya know, be in disguise.
