I noticed something the other day about our favorite triple-sailed spinosaur, and two-headed pterosaur



Now I'm sure we've all seen this shot from the Judgement Day TV Spot

Now, look at Grimlock's mouth. It's glowing a reddish orange color, like fire right? Now look at Slug's mouth. It's hard to tell because his mouth is barely open, but it is glowing the same color as Grimlock's.

Now look at Scorn's mouth. It's glowing ....... blue?



Now if we look at Strafe from the wallpaper that Hasbro released, we can see that he has the "mouth color" as Scorn

Could this mean that they shoot blue flames? That'd be pretty sick, right?





Another thing I noticed about the Dinobots is that Grimlock and Slug both have red eyes, and they both presumably shoot red/orange flames. Strafe and Scorn both have blue eyes, and they both presumably shoot blue flames.

This could possibly mean that the color of a Dinobots flame color correlates with its eye color. Which would mean we'd be seeing a certain Velociraptor shoot green flames, if this is the case





None of this is confirmed or anything, as Grimlock is the only one to have footage released showing him breathing fire. But, I thought it might be worthy of pointing out.

Something else that I thought about is that if this is true, Scorn shoots blue flames and has 3 rows of spikes. Guess who else has 3 rows of spikes and shoots blue flames.

i could see one of them shoot maybe blue plasma or lasers. maybe one shoots ice?

 

Wish they all shot flame colored flames, blue flames are overused in movies now because they look cool, just reminds me of gas stove lights.

That'd be pretty neat. Maybe Slash shoots acid because of the green?

Definitely something weird going on with Slash. He's featured heavily in promo's like the one in the OP, he's yet to show up in any trailers, has lots of early wave toys, and is the only Dinobot to have green eyes, which is the same colour as Lockdown, Stinger, and the Vehicons. I think only Grimlock and Slug will have fire breath, Grimmy we've seen, and Slug's bio mention him being a firey warrior, and those are the two most traditionally associated with fire breath.
