That was definitely a hypothetical. He said something about how even though he does a fair amount of death fake outs, he would never do something like say that Hound died when some building exploded, only for him to show up alive without explanation next issue.

 

That would suck if Hound dies. I've been wanting to see him get fleshed out in the IDW comics.
