G1 is known for having a lot of one off episodes where nothing of lasting impact happens but there are some episodes that actually adds to the story or it matters the order you watch these episodes in such as a good chunk of season 1 and some season 2 like "The Key to Vector Sigma" and "War Dawn" so what I like to do here is talk about what episodes I think add to a continuous story in G1 and giving some light on that it is important to watch some episodes in order and to see what you guys think and what episodes you would say are important to that as well. Also it is funny how season 3 actually has some ongoing stories but the orders of these episodes are so all over the place its hard to judge what goes where. So lets get started Bold episodes will be episodes where I feel the episode does add to a sense of continuity Italic episodes will be episodes that have good character episodes worth mentioning but don't really amount to anything but should get mentioned to show G1 could have good character episodes. Underline episodes are ones I enjoy but do not progress the story or have any stand out character moments so they do not amount to much but I still like. They are good one off episodes And if an episode has none of these then the episode is pointless and is not a favorite of mine just because. 1. MTMTE Part 1 -3 parter to open the series 2. Starscreams Ghost and Ghost in the machine are not bundled with Thief in the Night. Thief in the Night is the episode where Octane and Trypticon are snatching buildings. Had Blitzwing maintain his role and not Octane, this would have been a sequel to both Starscreams Ghost/Ghost in the Machine and Five Faces of Darkness
Yea but Thief in the Night is before Starscreams Ghost because we see Octance hiding from the Galvatron after those events.
Basically in order of events it be 86. Fight or Flee 76. Thief in the Night 75. Starscreams Ghost 80. Ghost in the Machine
