So due to unforeseen financial issues and priorities, my TF spending has been drastically cut to virtually..... non-existent for the choice of better words. I'm solely relying on gifts/gift cards for any toy purchases from here on out for a while. Let's fast forward........

My boss just gave me a badass $100 Amazon gift card *woot woot*, I'm building a G1 Ark/Nemesis collection much like my childhood. Do I .......

    1. Put it into MMC's Trailbreaker offering (I really love the way he looks in both modes)
    -Or-
    2. Get more bang for my buck and get up to 3 MP KO carbots to fill gaps(KO's don't bother me)

This is a tuffy for me. The floor is open....

Hmm honestly the KO Mp carbots are some of the best "Official" masterpiece molds. I would definitely go for them.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully things turn around for you sooner rather than later.

That said, I would save that gift card and see what's on sale during/after Christmas.

Usually AgesThreeAndUp does Boxing Day Sale right after Christmas.

I would go for the KO carbots. I never order at full price anymore. I always wait for figure reviews and sales. Many times, this has lead me to not purchase figures I was hyped for up front but the interest passed once new and better things came along. Anything that still held my interest months later was always on a sale and I haven't regretted any of those purchases.

This is just what works for me now. I used to pre-order like crazy and got buyer's remorse too often.

    hmmmmm, good question.

Do you want to put all your eggs into one basket for ONE figure, or maximize those eggs and get THREE figures?

Something tells me you'll be happy when you have three different figures to fiddle with, as opposed to just that one; especially on a tight budget.

If one of those KO carbots is Tracks, then do that option.
The KO of Tracks is genuinely better, and the best choice to make no matter what your finances.
    Plus, I like MP Tracks.

Also of note, the KO of Sideswipe doesn't have those weird triangle eyes, but more like Red Alert's normal face in Sideswipe's helmet, which looks way better.

i don't have any of the car bot KOs but I've heard good things. The car bots are stupidly overpriced; a 3fer seems like a no brainer to me.

I would go KO car bots. I had the KO sideswipe mold as well as Red alert (same mold). My only problem was that the gun did not fit snug in shoulder slot. They may have fixed this now. never saw the KO propel/sideswipe KO. Look at YouTube reviews to decide. They are all reviewed next to official.

    Sorry about money situation.

KO carbots for sure, you not only get the best bang for your buck, but they are great MP representations. They even made Iron Hide lately.

Just to help make you decision, but in general 3rd party figures tend to be overpriced on Amazon in my experience.

Online stores have Terraegis (MMC Trailbreaker) at costing $90. The Amazon listing I found was for $120.

This is why I love this place, hefty voices of reason speaking for the same common illness LMAO. Carbots it is! Thanks, friends. And yes, $120 IS the only listing as of now on Amazon for MMC TB.

Take the $100 to the roulette wheel, put it all on your favorite number, win, then buy all you want. If you follow my instructions to the letter, you'll be happy. Most people seem to skip the third step for some reason though, so make sure you don't skip it!
