If you had to choose between one or the other, what would it be? Full on FOC so we can get as many characters from the game as possible, or Generations, so we can get a few and also other toys?

I myself am leaning towards full on FOC. I like Generations and all, but I didn't buy many of the toys, and 2 of the 4 I bought were WFC, and I enjoyed those the most. What are your thoughts?

I couldn't care less about having an army of cybertronian mode TFs, so I'll go with Generations.

I'm not sure if this is bs or not, but according to Tformers report of today's panel, the FoC toys will be a part of Generations.

I'd say only generations would work, I mean, with so many of the WFC designs requiring cheating for them to transform, Hasbro can really only design so many of the characters.

I'd rather have a classics line with a few FoC guys slapped in (Shockwave please)

    Yes!

Back to the topic though, I don't think the video game could support a full line of the stuff, and I'd much rather Hasbro focused on getting more classic TFs out than more Cybertronian modes of popular characters.

We'll most likely see a few FOC toys released round the launch date. Hasbro (to my knowledge) has never really said how well the WFC toys sold as a subset of generations, but I don't think it sold that well to make it an entire line.

Unless it was going to tie in with a cartoon or movie, I don't see Hasbro wasting time on a full line of video game toys.

I'm more into the G1 retro design. I would mix a few WFC figures into my collection but it would not be the focus.

Generations, I don't want 2012 killing me TOO much. I mean, among Prime, Movie Send off line and Generations, next year will take a lot of money

I want a toyline so we can get scale. Also, I like the generics and I doubt that Hasbro would make them unless WFC had it's own line.

If WFC/FOC got their own line, I'd probably pass on most of the "regular" figures, but I'd totally grab a Voyager Grimlock and an Ultra (or larger) Omega Supreme and Trypticon, maybe some deluxe dinobots and/or insecticons. They aren't too likely to get Classics/Generations figures and these would certainly do the trick. Another Optimus? Starscream? Bumblebee? No thanks.

EDIT: It occurs to me that FOC really doesn't have a release date and could easily be Holiday 2012. It's entirely possible that the 2012 Generations WFC figures would be a a few deluxes tossed into generations (with maybe one or two from the new game but mostly from the old) but still get a full line next year in support of the game.

i like how they have been running generations the last year...if not broken...do not fix..keep doing what they are doing now....but for god's sake...give us a few voyagers...all deluxes and scouts suck...a few larger ones would be nice....

however...WFC omega supreme ...ULTRA sized...i would love!
