As the title states, there's a few small details and mods that I have done over the past month....s..... That I am finally posting! Let's start simple, with Barricade. I painted his arms and waist black much like many have done before, but also- I added a bit more purple on his....horns? (I'll call them horns) I did this because I didn't like how dull the original color was. And now a comparison with a Datsun that's closest. Next is Nightbird. I proceeded to do the mods that @Autobot00 did a while ago, but decided to add my own style on this one. First I removed the paint on the shins and shoulders, then painted the chest black. She is now Nightbird Fade, the rookie. Comparison with Siege Nightbird And LG Nightbird Shadow, the leader. Wait, who left this mess here?? Barricade: I'm betting it was her! Fade: It wasn't me! Delet: Omae wa mou Shindeiru Barry: Nani?! That's right! My take on Metroshot, whom I call Delet. After Metrotitan went offline, he embraced the shadows and started to take assassination jobs! This was the figure I finally learned that I was lacking in the amounts of stuff used in my dying process. Somehow his arms turned a jean-like blue and I loved it. I painted his head entirely in fear of messing it up. First his gun mode! (Riot Shield and grabbler for the last two, but whatever) Now Robot mode! With comparison to Sixgun. I really like the dyed Six-Gun. Looks awesome and so 'con-esque. I'd like to see alt mode pics of Nightbird to see how she looks like with the black torso. And (how) did you choose the thumbnail image shown in the forum thread overview?
Thank you both! I knew I forgot something. So honestly, this is the first time I converted her since the custom work. Looks pretty sweet! The black at the end really sells it. But I'm liking this so much more!! Flight mode confirmed!! Luck? It really confused me, but I'm glad THAT is the first pic.
I've wanted to due con versions of cog and sixgun for a while. Your "Delet" looks fantastic! Well done.
Nightbird is so much better without all that mess and I really like how the altmode looks without the paint on the chest.
Thank you! *Doubles check my words in the post* Yeah, I thought so. I mentioned how I painted her chest black, but not why. turns out her chest pieces is made of transparent purple like her windshield, and I didn't like the idea of removing the paint from the chest because I tend to use rubbing alcohol, and transparent plastic doesn't agree with rubbing alcohol... one of my Moonracer junkers can attest to that. Oooh! Lookit Barri in all those shades of purple! Love it! And yeah good luck on that. Not even you can get the jump on a trio of ninja bots. She can hide better now. Delet is so freakin coool!
