I wonder if you could point me in the right direction. I have a tiny Transformers fan at home, who is especially fond of Arcee. He’s ahead of his age, careful and good with easier transformations, but now he accidentally broke the arm of MMC Azalea. I can fix, but to save my collection I’m getting him a robot of his own.

He loves fembots, but is uninterested in the likes of Potp Slash and Rid Strongarm. I’m thinking a hastak Arcee or a Chromia or similar, Chug-sized, less delicate than third party, but I don’t have any so I don’t know which would be best for actual children. Older series is fine.

RID Winblade or even her simpler yet still decent Cyberverse figure would be good. Depending on how simple or complex youd want to go with, there is the Rescue Bots Quickshadow too

Hmmm well QT Arcee would be great. She's durable, cheap(still available at HLJ last I checked), and looks like G1 Arcee.

God I'd say TR but good lord is she a pricey lass these days. Animated and Gen Arcee might also work but both have issues with hand breakage so I dunno if you wanna go that route. The Combiner Hunters version could be an option since she has new hands but price might be prohibitive.

    Energon Arcee maybe?

Sadly he’s one of those who doesn’t like Windblade, he’s a bit of a G1 purist unlike dad.

Rid or Cyberverse Windblade would have been excellent options otherwise, as both are on the shelves at the local mall.

I’ll show him the Arcees when he gets here and let him choose. As long as the price is below an MP I consider it a bargain, as it saves my collection + encourages a new generation of TF fan. If I’m lucky, he’ll go to conventions when he’s a teen instead of do all the stupid and dangerous things I did ;)

What a shame, Windblade is shelfwarming everywhere I go here despite the 70% discount

Does he like Decepticons? Because the only other recent option I can think of would be Shatter, preferably the bigger one that turns into a jet. It’s cheap and has nice detailing thanks to being made with ILM files from the movie.

If you want to shell out a bit more cash try T30 Arcee, she’s expensive but definitely a wonderful entry into the world of TF collecting

TR Arcee seem like it might be good for your little guy, except for the potential of loosing the head and finding one on the secondary market.

Doesn't like Windblade? Well, there goes the demographic.

There's always the Prime mainline Arcee. It's somewhat simple and has a really great bot mode. The Beast Hunters one is even good and comes with a big honkin' weapon.

He does like Decepticons, actually. Tm2 Megatron and Sunstorm are his favourites, second to Arcee of course. Shatter is good, haven’t thought of it but I’ll show him pics, and the Takara Slipstream might be his thing.

Now I’ve watched reviews, I want a TR Arcee for myself. She looks like a fun figure, and the TR bots I own are great.

I’d feel sad seeing her degrade slowly around the apartment, but as she is a Blurr repaint, perhaps I could get him and make a Blurrette. Blurrina?

Prime.. I do have a RID Prime Arcee, actually. As she is a bargain bin find, he could inherit her so I can get a First Edition. And the Beast Hunters is cheap as far as I’ve seen.

T30 Arcee I sort of own, the OS KO. She’s a good, sturdy thing, could try her.

As for Windblade, I’m working on bringing my daughter into the fold too, and she loves airplanes. I have a plan..

Bit of both. I will be ruined buying Transformers for three, but it will hopefully keep them away from the dangers of the big city.

What about picking up an old Energon Arcee (or her blue 2007 movie repaint)? The mold is small, fun, reasonably simple (though still probably a bit complex for a 3-year old), and very identifiably Arcee. And it seems like she can still be had for like $15-20 on eBay.

Whirl, great tip, as is energon Arcee. He likes looking at reviews and over my shoulder as I browse this forum, so I’ll show him a few of these bots you’ve mentioned.

He has me to help out with transformation (though I have to dig up the instructions alot).

You're not kidding, I know from hanging out with my nieces that daughters and plans go together like matches and dynamite. :D  I love the little monsters to death but they are whirling dervishes of adorable chaos.

Moonracer is fun from TR, and Elita-1 looks good but is a bit pricier.

I was looking for a modern Arcee, myself.
