So i just got the leader class Optimus and he is isn't a great figure, but he isn't horrible. Size wise to the other figures he' a little out of proportion. Has there been any word if we are getting a Voyager size of his new look so that way I can build a team around him.
There is a Japanese release called Command something Optimus Prime which is a Voyager sized toy. But there's a huge backpack from the trailer.
Battle Command Optimus Prime from Takara is the same size as Evasion Mode Optimus Prime in robot mode.
Surely a Voyager would be to smaller as it wouldn't look right in truck mode with either Hound or Galvatron and Optimus is taller than everyone else and unless they got as much mass as possible into his legs and height he'd be to small. I think the teeny Leader if your best bet - or that comedy Japanese Prime with the trailer perhaps. Personally I'm most interested in the clear blue tint Leader than anything else.
Takara does a lot of figures I wish would make it state side. The problem with getting them is the price.
You have to order it from an online store like BBTS or from a shop in Japan. No word from the panel at Botcon and AFAIK none is coming but hopefully that changes.
