So, DOTM Deluxe Class Barry. He's not exactly the best movie Barricade out there, although the guy has a few upgrades from the initial 2007 mold that does make him better.

But, is there a way to change his posture? Well, I haven't seen any threads about this before, and lemme tell ya, there a way to fix his legs, head, chest, door wings, shoulders, and feet!

    Let's get started!

Now, first thing we need to do is fix those damn door wings! It has always bothered me that they could not rotate enough above his head, and it always looked weird since plastic always made it angle in a way that I just had to fix. So, this is where I cut:

Secondly, I had to fix the shoulders. They never sat all the way flush on the body, at least not as much as it could, so I shaved a bit off here to remedy that:

Then, I turned to the chest. The chest doesn't collapse into the "crotch" area as much as it can, so I shaved down the tab here a bit:

And now the chest can then collapse completely!

Up next is the head. There are two tabs you need to cut, one on either side of the neck joint:

And now the head can look more natural:

Now we move to the legs. The legs have a number of small parts you will need to shave down.
Firstly,Shave a bit off the back of the ankle joint, to give more room to let the feet angle back further.

Then cut the feet on either side, just so that moving it up and down on the ankle won't wedge them off every time.

After that, cut a little tab piece that for some reason is on the leg just above the knee, which keeps the knee for swinging forward enough. And I alwo recommend cutting a bit around the inner edges of the knee as well, just for extra room.

And now, the home stretch! just shave the side of the tab a bit on the side that is facing inward on either side. This will allow for the upper knee joint to move backward more, for additional range of movement.

And now, the result! (I have removed the bumper pieces on his hips, but I can show how he looks with them on if you want)

Does any of the shaveing effect the integrity of the figure?

What do you mean by that, exactly? If you mean the quality, no the figure still transforms and works just fine

Specifically the shoulder joints. Does it weaken the mounts?

Not at all! I just cut a bit of the plastic that points inward, nothing to do with the joints.

Oh that's good. Sorry if it's something obvious. I only got a smartphone and my pic quality isn't the best.

All good haha, yeah sorry my camera isn't the best either lol. I promise you that the cutting is worth it in the end! Just as long as you are careful
