Great news! We were told he was coming but seeing it in the plastic flesh is a relief. I thought that MMC and Maketoys IDW figs were going to be the extent of my collecting, it's great to see my first love (Animated) getting some much deserved attention.

It's so encouraging to see that they're not waiting on the sales for Dirt Boss to decide if they want to continue with the other constructicons. It really helps to show that they're commited to releasing them all, it improves buyer confidence in the first toy if the second is already in development. Still not guaranteed of course, but they're clearly all-in on the attempt. Lets hope these do well enough for other Animated toys to get made. I want everything!

So... I asked a while ago on Twitter whether these would form.Devastator, and their answer was "everything is possible"
Just thought I might put that out there.

    Needs work. ;D

Face looks really good but there should be more chest and shoulder visible above and behind the grill, which should be lower down.

Really curious to see what they do for transformation since that was something I struggled with on mine.

Terrific news! I hope we can get all three of these constructicons. I have a custom omega supreme from marksprojects (it's made of styrene mostly) that I would happily give to them if they could turn it into a refined, mass market release figure.

So far the few pics I've seen of their Dirt Boss and now this look better Than Mech Ideas attempt at Huffer and Pipes style wise.

These guys seem to get the TFA look more.

Finally! I really hope this really comes to fruition. Tired of 3P combiner wars, this is something I really-really want.

So there were only three constructicons in the show? Was Devastator ever in the show?

Yup, only three Constructions on the show.

Nope, but there was a project called Devastator: Devastator (Animated) - Transformers Wiki

I think their Huffer and Pipes had an extra level of difficulty gelling with the Animated look because the designs the toys were based on were also meant to look like Mario & Luigi - almost even more so than Huffer & Pipes. While I think the toys are fine and I like them personally, they were probably one of the worst choices for them to test the waters with. They needed something more iconic to TFA, something people wanted more.

But that's all water under the bridge...a bridge that is being built by TFA Constructicons! :D

YES YES YES YES! Finally 2 of the biggest glaring holes in my collection will be filled. Gave up some the figures when it was revealed they weren't getting releases but now I may finally finish it!

I know nothing of current fiction, does animated Mixmaster combine with the other Constructicons? So is this a new Devastator on the horizon?
