So was it your parents who wanted to see the movie and they brought you along with them?

 

I was 9 when I saw it, at a sleepover...I almost cried when OP died but I held it together...LOL!!! I was also in awe of Unicron and Galvatron was supreme badassery to me!!!

I have the DVD and I have watched it a million times. Oh, and my 5 year old daughter has seen it at least 3 times and she loves it!!! Arcee is obliviously her favorite. She pouts when OP dies but then she always says "It's ok, Optimus Prime always dies but he always comes back...Daddy, is Optimus Prime a Zombie?" - Priceless.

 

Yeah, optimus' death was a real shocker

 

I wasn't born when it was released, but I did watch it when I was two. So by the time optimus' death came I was In tears and couldn't watch it anymore. I saw it in full when I was 11. I still can't listen to the song when optimus dies.

 

I was six when it came out. My aunt insisted that we see Flight of The navigator. I wasn't happy. I do know that I insisted on the video for Christmas that year.

I was 10, but we brought my little sister (6) and my brother (4) to the theater with us. I don't know how interested they were in it but they didn't have any notable problems with it either.

ZacWilliam, my feeling is it's a better fit for an 8 to 10 year old than 6 but with correct parental guidance it's not a huge issue for that age. A lot may just go over their head or be uninteresting or confusing at that age.

-3. Saw it on VHS as well when I was 4-5, but didn't remember it until recently when I re-watched it on Youtube before watching season 3 of G1 on Netflix.

 

About 11, on vhs with school friends. we wore that sucker out. Good times.

 

I used to buy stuff on VHS all the time.I didn't get a DVD player until the PS3 was about to come out
