    6 in 86 also.

Though it (and the show) was a hazy memory of the past, that I didn't get to re-watch until 94/95 when I got the movie on VHS and the show in the very late 90s when Kid Rhino released the episodes on vhs.

I first watched it a few years ago at about 14 or 15. My dad was about my age when it came out.

I was twelve. I remember a lot of the younger kids in the audience started bawling after Prime died. That was a surprise. I didn't expect them to kill off Prime (and the rest of the original Autobots), nor did I expect to have a theater full of weeping young fans.

before my time, but closest I got was receiving the VHS on christmas and watched it religiously, often before bedtime. I remember how awesome it was when my parents told me they seen it in the theater.

ahh yes :lol  the dreaded static and often jumpy lines. I remember trying to alter it as best as I could with the remote option to remain watchable at times

Well, I wasn't born in 1986 BUT, I did see it on YTV when I was 11 and loved it. It replaced Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz as their New Year's movie and at first I was kind of sad but then I watched it and loved it. My friend whose house I was sleeping at didn't love it as much as I did. :lol

I now own the 20th anniversary DVD and watch it every year or so. God I love that movie.
