So any child of the 80s will remember this Fantasy/scifi. The movie came and went, and it has been slightly nodded to in South Park (with Jesus using the Glaive to take out some bad priests) and I think there was a reference or two in Family Guy.

Then there was The Last Starfighter, still one of my favorite little movies of the time, and the first movie to try to pass CG for actual real spaceships (Tron was supposed to be virtual world).

Finally Roger Corman's Space Raiders, a movie that used the same exact effects and explosions from his other movie Battle Beyond the Stars (Think canned footage in Transformers Anime cartoons).

Anyone have fond memories of these old "Bad, yet Great" movies?
