    Yeah I think I saw a similar story. The other side of the person's brain was able to adapt and maintain and "learn" many of the functions. He was still able to talk, see, etc., but his walking and movements suffered.

    i'm pretty sure i actually watched a special about a guy who had that procedure done before and they were amazed with what he could do afterwards. she's young too, and the human body can do amazing things. i really hope things work out well for her.

    I kinda wondered that too, I mean just an empty space in there wouldn't the other half just slosh around? I would imagie some sort of implant would go there. This whole procedure sounds scarey, I wish the kid and faimly the best.
