Looking at my shelf the other day, I decided to dust off my old Liokaiser custom project and rework it into a more "true" 6-bot combiner configuration. As most Liokaiser customs are usually VERY heavily modified to get the torso to work, my main goal was to figure out how to merge 6 stock, unmodded CW deluxe bots into a semi-decent combiner that anyone could put together (with the help of an easy to add "parts kit"). The configuration uses two 3D printed pieces: an upper torso frame and a pelvis hip part. The legs are from CW Dezarus, although I'll be redesigning a new set of 3D printed legs when I have time. Both pieces easily install onto CW Rook, who I'll be giving a simple add-on 3D printed parts kit to convert to Jallguar. The torso consists of CW Air Raid and Rook, all other bots are from the CW Liokaiser set. Combiner mode is solid, and actually has a waist and ab crunch now. The combiner knees are a temporary design I was using on my old Liokaiser config, but he'll be given actual knees during the leg redesign. He'll also be given more of a hip skirt to cover the lower ab area around the hips. Rook's rear wheels are being reworked for the Jallguar conversion, so they aren't in these pics. So, there you go... a little parts/pants forming, but a 6-Bot Liokaiser with unmodded CW deluxe figures is a reality now. Update 11/24: New Toon Accurate shoulder design and "Electromagnetic Nunchaku" spear Update 11/25: Lowered the shoulder ports to bring the shoulder height down for better proportions
Yup, they are all "non-customized", but you just have to pull the parts/pants forming parts off. For the shoulder jets, the legs have to also just be pegged back onto the hip ball joints. None of the bots are cut up, drilled, or invasive-ly modded in any way.
I do wish u would sell this in the future maybe as a whole kit, I love it, probably the best that’s ever attempted it and I want it lol
PM me and we can set up an order! I'd be happy to produce them for folks, but due to the number of parts and different materials, it's too cost prohibitive on a service like Shapeways. I'm open to taking direct orders on a very limited basis due to the print time required. First come first serve. =)
