Paint masks/templates Hey y'all. I was browsing through the Radicons section like i do every day and realised most people tend to not paint Autobot symbols onto their customs because it's kind of difficult without some sort of paint mask. So i made one. The model is currently untested so i'm not sure if the model translated to Shapeways well or not. As you might be able to guess, the big cutout is for spraying the white undercoat that gives the Autobot logo it's borders, wheras the other half is for the logo itself. To use it should be fairly simple, just tape it in place (or hold it on with some playdough, as i recall some people tend to use that in place of masking tape),mask off the parts that are not underneath the template and paint over it. I'll update this thread once i've had a chance to test the template. If you do decide to order one for yourself, keep in mind that it currently is probably only good for flat surfaces. This one's not for sale yet because Shapeways was giving me a lot of trouble with this one, so i want to make sure it prints properly before i make it available.
My test shot should be arriving in about two weeks. In the meantime, i made a small edit and split the paint mask in half.
