I'm surprised no one posted the most obvious retitle:

"I've got better things to do today, than Die Hard."

Die Hard huh? This version should have at least...ummmm... 3 viagra jokes. LOL

Just mind fcuk everyone and make this one a prequel, and use CGI to make Bruce young (ala Xmen 3 Magneto and Charles flashback scene), and show how he was as a rookie cop. LMAO, didnt see that coming did ya?

Haven't even seen the third part.

    edit:
Wow, How'd I know before reading the link, that his movie will feature McClane's son? ;)

I can't believe Bruce Willis is doing another Die Hard film.

I remember reading one time after the second film, Willis wasn't sure about doing a third Die Hard. He was afraid of being a John McClane typecast.

I also remember reading the third film was going to be about McClane being aboard a cruise ship. But the release of the Steven Segal film "Under Siege" scrapped that idea.

Money, Dear Boy. I'm sure Bruce has got bills to pay just like the rest of us and I can think of worse things to do for cash than be John McLane for a couple of hours on screen.

Damn, why did they scrapped that idea? That sounds awesome. As if anyone would watch Steven Segal movies. No one would have noticed anyway!

Not sure how I feel about this. The last one was kind of mediocre, honestly, especially when compared to the classic first one.

Huh, I watched that not too long ago. Although with how that movie played out, there were hints of Die Hard here and there(especially one particular scene involving an improvised bomb) but the actual plot seemed different enough to me.

Under Siege was actually kinda good. It starts off kind of slow but really picks up once Segal starts kicking ass.

Urgh, just no... Live Free or Die Hard was just awful. Unless they're gonna bring Samuel L. Jackson back into it, I'm gonna give it a pass.

I thought that that later became the script for Speed 2, after some retooling. Like, Speed 2 was almost Diehard 3.

Could work. I actually enjoyed "Die Hard 4.0" more than "Die hard with a vengeance". Besides, if Stallone pulled a fun and good movie with "Balboa (aka Rocky 6)", why cant Bruce Willis do the same with "Die Hard 5"? ;)

I can see it possibly being good. Bruce is still a badass in his old age. I think as long as they don't go the way of Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls and Bruce partners with his "son" then it could be a good action flick.

    Awesome.

It would be nice if Samuel L.Jackson came back and reunited with Bruce. Ideally this would make it as awesoem as 1 and 3 for me.

I thought Live free or Die Hard was pretty awesome, much better than the second one IMO. Bruce Willis is bad ass and I have faith in him.
