Hi! My Chromeribs shipment missed the window before the Lunar New Year (it is from a retailer in China), so I cannot comment on the durability of the paint job. Hopefully someone else can chime in.
Has anyone done up some BBs as the original Zords? Iirc all of the animals exist. There's a saber-toothed cat right? It just occurred to me while opening the FE Moma and I don't think I've seen it.

I absolutely love hydro bullet shark, but I knew the colors weren't gonna work so I just sprayed everything on the runners, lol. And while I love both modes on wheel raptor, the shark mode is the main event here and worth the price of admission on it's own.

Thanks! I sprayed the inner frame and all the runners with black primer, then clipped the armor bits off and sprayed them gunmetal. It's a little hard to tell, but here's a shot with better lighting. The only problem is the inner frame is white so any paint rub stands off, but it's pretty forgiving otherwise.
Very cool. I'm tempted to buy a little compressor, and a paint sprayer attachment, and learn how to do it

I got mine in September and so far he has held up pretty well. No scratching or flaking on either Chromeribs himself or the bonus claw.
I'm thinking of picking up Actaeon and one of the Icarus variants. Can anyone who owns a copy let me know how qc is on them and if I need to watch out for any specific issues? Also, are there any previous vehicular megaboxes that combine well with the two I mentioned above?
I've got the Elite Icarus, and I really love it! Jet modes are pretty large, combined mode is a lanky beast.. Kinda wish I also owned the original version, but eh.. Icarus can split into multiple parts like previous MegaBoxes, so there's plenty of play there.. Well Worth getting!
@zestymans Actaeon is super sturdy, good plastic quality and simple but asymmetrical transformation. Highly recommended!
Pick up the Elite Icarus variant. It's more common so it'll cost you less, and they fixed an issue with the original that sometimes causes breakage.
A few of the joints were just frail or something like that. I'm not sure if it was ever fully explained but tt was a big enough issue that ShowZ IIRC refunded people who ordered and canceled it because they felt it didn't meet standards to be worth selling.
