I just want to know how you physically move this guy around your house. That alone is a Herculean feat.

Thanks again, guys for the kudos. :)

Ha! I'm no expert, but I think a big lifeless robot would make you feel even more alone. :lol

So I was wrong in a way I didn't expect. He weighs less than I was thinking. 51lbs. Each leg is 9 and the arms/torso are 33. Maybe the upper section just felt heavier to me since I have to move it around held out in front of me. Or I'm just a pussy. :lol

It's impossible to move him with the legs attached, so I made some stands/feet to stage him (and travel him if I ever need to) while I position the legs elsewhere.

Dude. You HAVE to paint those stands green and black and take a wide shot of the torso on them.

    I'm speechless.

    ...

So I'll just talk about something else that this made me realize! You made a people-sized Devastator. You made a f***ing Devastator the size of an adult human being. And he is made of 1/16 scale vehicles (mostly). So... An actual, non-mass-shifting Devastator would therefore be 16 people tall, right? That... actually sounds pretty small, doesn't it? It does to me. A bit less than 100 feet, if my math is right.

...I mean, he still can't stand up inside Astrotrain, but dear Primus I think he could actually fit!

I suppose devastator does need to go to toilet for a dump truck, as here's carrying a heavy load. I just hope it doesn't get stuck and require a hook...

    So incredible!

The words to express how awesome this is do not exist in the English language.

And I actually like his Popeye proportioned arms. Makes him look burly

:lol  I just can't do that to him. How humiliating!

No. No no no no no no no no no. I mean, I have actually thought about Bruticus, because as far as 1:18th vehicles go, aside from Blastoff, his components are pretty readily available and would be able to be kept in scale. Sure, some alt mode choices would have to be altered a bit, but it could definitely work. But I'm not putting myself or my wife through this "labor of love" again.

I appreciate the compliments though. :)

Heh. I did that math too. Being 48" to the top of his head (rounded up a tiny bit..he's actually 47.75") in 1:16th scale would make him 64' tall in real life. Much shorter than I imagined a real life 1:1 scale Devastator being. That's only eleven'ish 6' tall dudes high!? Thinking of something 64' tall in real life doesn't seem that massive, but when I place a GIJOE next to him, it really puts how big he would be into perspective.

Thanks! Not get moving slacker! :D

Barney? Is that you? I'll wait for it.

This is possibly one of the coolest things I've seen on this forum. It's absolutely awesome. Well done man, well done. That is quite a stunning piece.
