Sweet mother of God... this is AMAZING!!!
The Ultimate Devastator. Incredible job!
All I can say is that this is epic beyond belief. I am in awe of what you have created.
This is easily one of the most impressive customs I've ever seen. Incredible work!
Make it so!!!!
Wish I had that kind of control
I've never seen this before, it's FUCKING INCREDIBLE!!!!! OH WOW.
The pics of him on the sofa and toilet!
Thanks so much, everyone. I'm glad that years later the Bruder is still appreciated.
Like an MP scaled figure or another like Bruderstator? If you mean the former, I'd just finish the General Lee MP I started. If you mean the latter, it'd be either Menasor or Bruticus. Menasor presents a problem because a viable, correctly scaled stand in for Motor Master doesn't exist. At least not that I can find. I'd be aiming for 1:18th, but I'd settle for something slightly smaller or larger. Bruticus would actually be very possible. I wouldn't handcuff myself to the G1 alts. A space shuttle is ridiculous. One, because of the size (I hate the mass shifting excuse) and two, because it's not a military craft. I'd use a drone or something. A Jeep would also be out. I'd use something more properly scaled to a tank. A larger military truck. Basically correctly scaled trumps G1 alts.
As for size, not clue. Whatever perfect proportions end up being. I suspect Menasor would be smaller than Bruderstator and Bruticus would be about the same size.
So 2½ years later I finally got around to the updated Mixmaster. Getting the Magic Square MM was what got me motivated. That beautiful G1 style!
It's just the basic Bruder cement mixer truck. The modern one I initially used just wasn't sitting right with me. This basic one needed some work. The biggest thing was adding the chunky, G1-esque, wraparound bumper.
Right now I only have these old vs new comparo pics. And a very poor photoshop mock up. Sorry.
@G.I.EDDIE lol after all these years, you're still at it and making improvements,Super cool!. Is the paint a match from the new cab to old? Also you ever thought about starting a new project/combiner?? Would ABSOLUTELY love it if you can pull a Bruticus or even Menasor.
always in awed looking at those pix of your devy
Still the most impressive sight to behold all this time later. You truly can’t grasp how big he is until the couch and turlet pix. How much does that sucker weigh? And how are his joints holding up? And how the hell is he standing without support or heels?? I’d be afraid to breathe near it for fear he’d just collapse into a pile of mangled parts.
Reminds me of the one KingBotz did back in the day.
Man this is Totally Incredible, I'm just seeing this now
The paint is exactly the same. Literally used up the last of one of the cans I used years ago. Sadly, it's not in stores any longer, so I won't be able to fix him up. The camera had a really difficult time with that color and daylight.
I have given another project some thought, but I really don't have the space.
Heh, thanks. IIRC, he weighs 51lbs. It's in this thread somewhere. But yeah, everything is holding up fine...nice and tight. He's always stood on his own. Very stable. Right now he's on carpet, standing fine. Though I do have a lanyard on him just in case. Better safe than sorry.
Thanks. Kingbotz and Keenan were both inspirations. They gave me the confidence, knowing that something so ridiculous was possible.
HOLY mother of gawd, that MF is F'n BIG and BEAUTIFUL!!!
hat's off to you for a truly insane majestic custom masterpiece.
