40cm DOTM Megatron 98% FINISHED Here's my first ever post for the YOS... dedicating this one to my buddy Andy... thanks for the inspiration!
This is going to be cool....I was SO disappointed by the tiny size of the DOTM Voyager Megs.... Looking forward to the finish here. Hows this guy scale with Alternators and Human Alliance?...been wanting one for my collection since I first saw it....just not sure if its "too big"
just seen one of these on ebay last night...the thing is bloody huge!!! in truck mode it looks awsome!!
so there is a 40" KO megatron? Upsized from the voyager? 40" is a bit too big honestly... if someone upscaled it to maybe 14" it'd be perfectly scaled to leader OP. Bit of shame it's so big really... even at 18" I think it'd be good. Anyways, good job on the painting, btw

Using a Desert ROC Duke figure as a reference, the Megatron alt mode looks to be in scale with the GI Joe figures (roughly 1/18th scale). Robot mode may be on the small side compared to the oversized 50 cm Optimus Prime figure. However, as a custome base, one might be able to make him taller to be in scale with the oversized KO 50 cm Prime. Grinkrystal, do you have an Oversized 50 cm Prime figure that you can take pictures of Megatron next to him? Here is a scale chart of Megatron and Prime's alt mode:
If only... It were a bit... Smaller.. so disappointed with that. Your work on it though, awesome, pure awesome.
