So, my mate’s coming up with his kids over the school holidays and it just so happens that controllers were on a pretty good deal and my two controllers are starting to have battery issues, so I thought why not get two new ones and check out some four player options out. I think we were spoilt with the N64... Key: (PSN) - offered already as a monthly freebie - could these be offered again? Man, there's heaps I missed! (PSowN) - as long as I pay my subs I have these (own) - I bought it (free) - free to play *** - I'm interested in somewhat Just setting up some categories for now, wondering how to class them... Tiny Brains: TBD Carnival Games: TBD That's You (PSN): TBD Knowledge is Power (PSN): TBD Co-op/Scroller: Rayman (PSowN): co-op playthrough I think. Little Big Planet 3 (PSowN): co-op playthrough. ***Badland (PSN): Indie scrolling jumper. Gauntlet (PSowN): seems to be a popular one, I only remember emptying my piggy bank on this game at the arcade. Lara Croft & Temple of Osiris (PSowN): Gauntlet with guns? Magicka 2 (PSowN): Another long winded game that requires time to get into like Diablo I think. Puzzle: ***Tricky Tower (PSN):4 player Tetris with an environment that can change game play. ***Death squared: Brother recommends this. Minecraft: The girls know how to play this and I don’t. EA FIFA: TBD NBA2K: TBD Everybody's Golf: TBD Rocket League (PSowN): looking good Pyre: Has some 3v3 basketball minigame Rayman Legends (PSowN): Has 2v2 kung-soccer minigame What do you guys recommend?
I bought Everybody’s Tennis. It looks and feels just like Mario Tennis. Also downloaded PES lite and Brawlhalla. And I figured out Black ops 3 zombies too, as I failed miserably to get two player going last Christmas. Now it’s working four players! I'm just building up a list - mainly for me, but feel this could be useful for anyone. It's not anything complete, just what stands out or looks interesting, while I search but it's kinda heading that way. There's not actually a lot of info on 4-player couch games, and it's hard to tell what is actually local or online when they say 4 players can participate... but I'm figuring that out! Can someone who can please edit my heading with "Local" at the start. It should really be Local 4 player games on the PS4.
Just noticed Worms is $5. Played a round of the tennis, and it feels a lot like Mario. The only thing that feels off is aiming your shot. I think we could get into this. We loved Mario Tennis.
Rayman: Legends is fun for older and younger players. And... Damn, four player games aren't as common today.
