Okay, so I've tabulated the results based on your nominations and I'll be adding the top three from each category into the poll for 3P Toy of the Year 2016.

    VOTING NOW CLOSED

The voting stage will be open until 1st January.

    3P MP Style Category

    1) Fans Toys Stomp
    2) Maketoys Despotron
    3) Fans Toys Willis

    3P CHUG Style Category

    1) MMC Carnifex
    2) Maketoys Cross Dimension Striker Manus
    3) Maketoys Cross Dimension Rioter Despotron

    3P Citybot / Combiner Category

    1) Maketoys Pandinus
    2) Toyworld Constructor
    3) Generation Toy Gravity Builder

3P Legends / Small Scale Category

    1) Iron Factory Lord Scorpion
    2) Mastermind Apollo
    3) Iron Factory Ashura Knights

EDIT: Thanks to the polls reducing from 13 to 10 with the new forum software I've had to drop the options for GT Gravity Builder and the Ashura Knights boxset which had the lowest amount of nominations. Apologies for any disappointment.

Full results and more detailed breakdown coming on my annual Year in Review write-up coming early Jan.

I have to go with Fanstoys' Sludge. He's just perfect, literally, and worth every penny for the giant hunk of plastic and diecast you get. Easily gets my vote for 3rd party figure of the year.

MMC Carnifex. I love Stomp, Despotron and Pandinus. But, Carni just popped in my head first when thinking about it.

Stomp is perfection. Probably the best Transformer ever made. If he does not win, I demand an investigation on Russian efforts to influence these elections!

By the way, I'd love a poll for Worst 3P figure of 2016... :D

    Voted for Stomp.

First time voring for a FT figure to be toy of the year, because the previous times I felt that either FT had just missed the mark, and/or there were other companies with a better product that year. This time, neither is for me the case. Stomp is close to perfect (still want to grease those sliding legs and I can't get the dino blue eyes from his head to give him his proper red eyes) and bloody impressive in hand. Worth every cent in quality, feel and look.

Must also admit that he only other figure from the list that I bought, is Despotron. Also a very good figure, but not nearly as good as Stomp.

All other I didn't buy out of disinterest, hesitation (TW Constructor) or because they don't fit within my collection (MMC Carnifax).

FT Stomp is amazing. I wasn't that sold with Scoria, Sever and Soar, but this one really grabbed me. Almost perfect toy.

Ultimately, I went for Carnifex, as I can't imagine a LSOTW / Roche inspired Overlord would ever get made through official channels and that's what I look for in 3P personally.

Hmm, I've tried to avoid the negativity of doing a Worst Figure of the year. Must admit, I sort of wish I'd done one last year as I had a feeling Apollyon would have won both that and best figure, so divisive was that figure.

Maybe I should do a hindsight poll, which is always for the previous year's figures?

Is this something a lot of people would be interested in?

Stomp destroyed the competition. Even as good as Carnifex is (and it's DAMN good), there was no real choice to make here.

It actually won the popular vote, but lost the college electoral.

I kid. He just didn't have as many nominations as Willis, it tied with Sunsurge for fourth place in it's category.

Really no surprise a G1/MP figure is in the lead. I also own Stomp, but barley touch him. He is quite nice but also quite boring.

What IS surprising is an IDW character in second place.

Some context; Spartan won best non-MP figure last year, and PE Warden made the top 3 in 2014, both heavily comic styled. Combine that with Feral Rex winning overall in 2014 and Hexatron placing second (1st non-MP) in 2013, and the evidence might suggest that people really, really like MMC.

Sorry for being a data nerd. But I do it so y'all don't have to.

Stomp all the way. Closest we have ever gotten (in my opinion) to a perfect Masterpiece figure.

    With which toy exactly?

    Mors received four nominations
    Jupiter received three nominations
    Perceptor had just two nominations

Well below the amount needed to make the top three in any category needed to get into this final voting stage.

Yeah exactly I'm saying any of those should have had more nominations, just my humble uniformed opinion.

They make great toys, that's for sure! Probably why Vulcan had a fair few votes, despite coming second in his category last year when he was released.
