I voted FT Stomp, it perfectly capped off the FT Dino’s set which to me is one of the true game changers for 3rd party MP collectors. I would have also voted for ToyWorld Constructor for more or less setting the standard for sizing for MP combiners moving forward from itself.

Ok, did so, but was a though one between the two, as one started it all, and the other cemented the dependence to no escape...

Thank you to all the voters. I love reading why people have voted the way they have.

Thank you everyone who has expressed what their favourite toy was even if it wasn't on the list, without feeling the need to say it should have been in the list or calling into question the validity of the list.

The more I've thought about it the more I've builder my own personal favourite release as either MMC Cyclops or FansProject Glacialord. The first is a toy I never thought we'd ever get and is in my opinion the first new 3P masterpiece. The second is a set I didn't know I wanted but completely recaptured my love of buying G1 Scramble City toys piecemeal as a wee nipper.

Both top my list because they have never been redone or reinterpreted buy any other company official or otherwise. Magic stuff and totally unique.

I have to give first place to Glacialord because he is just so fun and I transform him all the time! I wish we had gotten more from Retro Future.

Agreed, Glacialord is king. Everything about that release from the way it was sold to the way it was packaged to the toys themselves is just so good and nothing but pure fun.

I voted for FT Quakewave for its overall impact on the hobby, especially in reference to how it established 3rd party in the Masterpiece game.

My second choice (of the options provided) would have been FT Stomp. I have purchased at least 100 MP-scaled 3rd party figures, and at least 35 official Takara MP releases. Of them all, FT Stomp is the closest that has ever come to being a "perfect" figure for me.

We caught a lot of flak for the sticker album, but that's still my favourite 3rd party project I've ever worked on.

This is kinda weird for me. Like picking an automobile of the century, it would be hard to choose something from 2000 due to technological advances.

I've seen people mention that Fans Hobby is made up of ex-Fansproject people. Looking at their releases, I feel as though it could be true.

If that's true, that's awesome and I can totally see it. Love those designs. Have they teased anything about a new release after that fembot they are doing?

    THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS

I actually interpreted 'best' as a mixed balance of all of those things, and voted for a figure (Giant) that I don't even own.

Voted TE01. Absolutely the finest 3P I've seen. Clean sculpt and fantastic figure. Phoenix was a close 2nd. Impressive for it's size and articulation. I like Grinder over Stomp. Quakewave pinched my fingers, so I don't like him. lol

I'd put DX9 Carry or Richthofen ahead of Quietus.

In a similar Hearts of Steel vein, my favorite would have been the Awakening version of the Airborne Squad from MMC. I still hold that toy in very high regard.

Their currently known projects are the Minerva you mentioned, a teased Shuta to go with it, and not "announced" but known Cab to finish the Autobot Headmaster Jrs. Repaints for Nightbeat and Siren are highly likely (Cab probably doesn't actually require a repaint for Hosehead). They have a Thunderclash redeco of their Power Baser that is about to come out, and teased a Machine Wars Optimus Prime repaint of that. They have also strongly indicated they plan to do a Fire Guts God Ginrai now that their God Bomber is done. They have shown a prototype of an Armada Optimus Prime and teased an Armada Jetfire and Overload to go with it. Finally they have announced/teased but put on indefinite delay a G1 Roadbuster (MB-07) and a G2 tank Megatron (MB-10) due to their priorities shifting and limited production capacity.

Thunderclash and Minerva both look great. I can see me being on board for at least one of those.

MMC's Overlord. I think it was the first toy of such quality. Still impressive to this day.

So... this more of which toy had the biggest impact, rather than which toy is the best.
