I remember hearing a year or two back about one or two third party companies planning on making a prowl figure that was compatible with CW/UW devastator, as well as a new hook that could act as the leg. Has there been any further word on that at all? I've been keeping an eye out, but it's hard to keep track of every little thing going around. I remember hearing about these in an interview, but I can't recall the name of the person who said it. Is there any other interest on here for third party Prowlastator figures, or am I in a small minority for wanting to be able to purchase these?
If we're having a Prowlestator, I'd like one done properly, from the ground up. Tread forearms and all.
It also looks like Hook has moved to the foot location in place of Scrapper so that would require a newly engineered Hook transformation design.
i'd be down for a Prowlstator. in fact that'd be the only way to get me to buy a 3p devastator since I already have combiner wars devastator.
Huh, glad to see I'm not the only one interested! Eh, as was said, it's still just hook, plus I'm not into the expression they went with. I wouldn't be opposed to this, though I'm not sure if there's enough demand to warrant making six new figures. I'd be happy just to get the two, and honestly I'd be willing to overlook the scrapper foot as long as the prowl component was there.
This was never a thing. I know people mentioned wanting it, but no 3rd party ever mentioned any sort of plans for it, besides the previously seen "cosplay."
I wouldn't really want an entire new Prowlastator set of figures, but I would gladly buy a leg!Hook and a Prowl that's compatible with the CW/UW set. Sure, tread forearms are cool (it's my favorite aspect of Hercules), but I have a Devastator and don't need a complete second one.
i dont think they even need a new hook. just include some parts with Prowl to modify the existing Hook. sidenote, a Megatron would be nice too since we do know his current idw body is capable of becoming a Devastator head.
Hmmm, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to that, though Prowl is top priority, especially since Megatron never got to actually combine with devastator and be the head. I hope Prowlastator makes a comeback in the comics now that they don't have to worry about Event Toy Accuracy. Maybe that would jumpstart any plans that 3rd parties might have for it.
Why stop at CW/UW Devastator? I would like to see Prowlastator and Megastator options for every Devastator on the market. DX9 Hulkie, Maketoys, Generation Toy, TFC, Toyworld, etc, etc. That way there are options for everyone, and size classes to suit the needs of the many.
A Hasbro compatible upgrade would be all that interest me...AND...that'd be more my interest in that particular alt of Prowl...as opposed to P'stator o'erall...
I don't think hook is the right length to be a leg, I could be wrong though but I am pretty sure he can't do the foot transformation he would need.
I've been wanting this for so long! Ideally for TFC Herc, just because that's the Devy that I have. I'd even be happy with a non-transforming blob that just plugged in in place of Hook, but ideally a full transforming Prowl would be best. I could take or leave the alternate Hook for a leg.
I had to make my own. I got the head off an old alternators smokescreen. The alt mode is a shitty looking wheeled canon. Its my first kitbash, be kind.
